Q: What is the drop in rate?
If this is your first time at EFC your first class is FREE. Our drop in rate is $10 a class. Stop by the front desk to ask about our 10 pack class package.
Q: What is the difference between the basic classes and master classes?
Master classes are specialty classes in which learning objectives are achieved through in-depth practice accompanied by detailed instruction. These classes are highlighted in blue on our Group Fitness Schedule.
Q: How do I sign up for class:
You can sign up for classes using the MemberMe+ app or by stopping by the front desk ahead of time.
Q: What should I do the first time I go to a new class?
As tempting as it is to slink into the back row this is the last place you should go as you will not be able to see or hear well from there. Position yourself near the front and always introduce yourself. Make sure you tell your instructor if you have any medical conditions or injuries before the class begins.
Q: I’ve got two left feet, do I need to be coordinated?
Many classes like pump, spin, circuits etc require no coordination at all. Some of the more dance inspired classes and step classes (which are set to music) will have an element of rhythm to them, but to be honest, nobody cares if you are out a beat or two. Just relax and enjoy the music.
Q: What should I bring to class?
All you will need is a water bottle. If you use an asthma inhaler, please carry that with you. If you would like to use your own equipment during class you are more than welcome but EFC will provide all necessary equipment!
Ready to get serious? Our certified personal trainers will design a program built entirely around you — your goals, your body and your lifestyle. Whether you are just starting out or looking to break through a plateau, one-on-one coaching delivers real results. Single sessions and package options are available.
